Students of the Month

Kaito Wilson

Kaito is a kind young man who has gone above and beyond in the classroom. He has been working very hard on his own coursework and is not afraid to ask for help when he needs it. Kaito also takes the initiative to help those around him. His leadership in the classroom has elevated the academic success for himself and his peers. Wherever Kaito sits becomes “Kaito’s office” for study help. He takes a quiet leadership role, but it does not go unnoticed.

Great job, Kaito!

Dane Kaneshiro

Dane, our remarkable student, fills us with immense pride. We consider ourselves incredibly fortunate to have him as part of our school community. Consistently exhibiting a strong work ethic, he delivers his utmost efforts to complete tasks meticulously and punctually. What truly sets Dane apart is his unwavering commitment to setting lofty standards for himself and wholeheartedly striving to accomplish his ambitions. Additionally, he displays kindness and readily lends a helping hand to his classmates, making him an exceptional role model for others.

We wholeheartedly encourage Dane to continue his outstanding efforts!

Team Building: Enrichment Activity Middle/High School

Now that the students are all on one team together, we are trying to implement that in the classroom too. The older students did an exercise of teamwork in a human knot. Students received very minimal instructions for this exercise and had to communicate to get themselves unknotted. They did a really good job of working together and communicating. They were talking, listening, and acting on the information to complete the exercise.

-Olsida, do you want to include your students’ Christmas preparations?

Team Building: Enrichment Activity Elementary

Holidays definitely brought a spirit of joy to our classroom. The children loved decorating the classroom. As a teacher, I enjoyed seeing them work together, share ideas, and talk about how Christmas is celebrated in their families.

“Sharing is caring” accompanied our holidays, and we couldn’t be more proud of the way the children organized everything themselves.

Ho Ho Ho! Happy Holidays!!!

Soccer Superstar

Noah Miller

Noah has brought immense improvements to our soccer program, making it one of the most notable advancements we have witnessed. His unwavering dedication to training, coupled with his strong determination to compete, has truly showcased his exceptional capabilities. Among our team, Noah stands out as one of the swiftest players. What truly sets him apart is his remarkable creativity, constantly exploring new approaches and acquiring new techniques, all through his own initiative. He has certainly become a devoted student of the game.

Your efforts are truly commendable, Noah. Well done!

Community Service

Every Friday, Rush Education Hawaii engages in community service at the Waipio Soccer Complex to prepare for the upcoming Regionals in June. The children dedicate an hour and a half to various tasks such as weeding, planting, and leveling the fields, among other responsibilities. As our school trains at the Waipio Soccer Complex on a weekly basis, it is our responsibility to ensure that the fields are well-maintaned.

Our objective is to contribute to the community, and the school strongly aligns with this mission. Good job everyone!
